Office / Business Administrator – Equine

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated business administrator to join our small office team at our Country Store in Lydiard Millicent, Swindon. The role is ideal for an individual who has a passion for delivering excellent customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of the business.

About the Role

Main duties include:

  • Financial administration – including till reconciliations and sales ledger processing
  • Taking customer calls – including taking orders from account customers for feed deliveries, supporting with product enquiries
  • Light marketing support – working with the retail teams to generate content for social media
  • Supporting the retail teams with shop displays, signage etc.
  • Other office and admin support tasks to support the running of the business.
  • Opportunities to develop within the role and take greater responsibility within our small business.

The role is Full Time (35 hours per week) working Monday to Friday, at our main site in Lydiard Millicent, Swindon.

About You

As the role is mainly within our equine business, an interest and knowledge in horses is preferred but not essential. We are looking for someone who is organised, has good people skills and attention to detail. Working experience of Sage Accounts and Microsoft Excel is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. There’s also the opportunity for the right person to grow the role and take on more responsibility.


Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for someone to join our warehouse team, supporting our warehouse manager and lorry drivers.

The Role:

  • Receiving of incoming goods: unloading, checking delivery notes, stock rotation
  • Pick and load outgoing goods for delivery, completing paperwork
  • Loading customers cars with animal feed / bedding from our Cash & Carry
  • Assist lorry drivers with unloading of horse feed at customer’s yards
  • Keeping warehouse clean and tidy.
  • Delivery of goods via Van and unloading at Customer’s site (if over 21 and Full UK Driving Licence)

Note: Role includes manual handling of animal feed (20-25Kg bags).

Role will include use of Counterbalance Forklift – training to be provided.

Hours:
Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
